When I was a little girl, I was obsessed with how the human body worked, so when I went to Disney for the first time when I was about five, I was obsessed with how cool this ride was (but that was bad news for my mom who had to go on it with me, even though she doesn't like blood and the ride made her motion sick.) I get why it got shut down, but if they brought it back I would be first in line to ride it.

I'm glad that Disney/Pixar inspired by those cute couples 😊😊😊😊

In the Safari ride when it got to the part with the poachers, was that a real truck making that little turn in the back or was that like an animatronic truck?

It's sad to see how much better condition Dinosaur used to be in compared to now. Disney doesn't seem to be keeping up with maintenance on some of the older rides.

Wow, the electronics look great in these, they worked really well in the 90s. I'm bummed I never got to ride this, I saw Tiana's Bayou Adventure, it's not a terrible ride, but it's hit or miss tbh.

I’m going to be honest, I didn’t even realize it was her but now that I do, as something who found her version of Cinderella so unique and amazing, I am even more excited for this new Descendants film. Yes of course I’m sad the original 4 aren’t returning but I get it due to Cameron Boyce’s passing (and Carlos De Vil’s passing based on how it sounded from Descendants Royal Wedding), but with the Red music video, Uma returning, and these two legacies returning as Cinderella and Charming, I definitely think this film will be great in its own right!!!!

Awesome casting choices! I loved this movie as a kid. There's just one problem. Chad Charming. Is Chad adopted? Maybe he is secretly Drizella's son, and Cinderella and the Prince took him in, but he still grew up to be a jerk.

All I hear is, "Impossible... Things are happening everydayyyy!"

the original attraction should be restored. it was the best ride disney ever made, and, as a kid, it was my favorite thing in the world. the current version is a shit-flavored shell of the original.

I'm amazed how good the video looks for VHS recorded in 1999! You must have taken very good care of the tapes until they were digitised - it almost looks like a modern HD camera recording!

Fun Fact: Did you know that originally the plan was that the third version was originally going to be temporary until a planned overhaul called Project Gemini happened. Unfortunately that plan failed. I don't think Tony Baxter is aware of that, someone should tell him. Interestingly Disney has teased that something is happening with the attraction as they showed a video with Figment visited the Studio and the Imagineering department with some kind of idea. What do you think about all of this.

Great Movie Ride was so much better…

We were there in 1999. My wife was pregnant and I remember us sitting at Coronado Springs thinking up names. So our son was named in WDW! We are so lucky to have had multiple trips since. In fact we are there this September with my son who is now 24. Thanks for the nostalgia ❤️

Disney's version of the future then looked like something most people would want. Who wouldn't want a robot butler/housekeeper. AI skipped too many steps and now we're living a dystopian nightmare.

It was ahead of its time. It had a diverse cast without forcing you into accepting the diversity, as a kid i didn't notice charming didn't look like his parent 😅. The story was so well done I didn't care. The actors had great chemistry and the songs were beautiful.
